The Project

Apple’s B2B and Channel Sales group is responsible for about 70% of Apple’s total revenue worldwide. Apple’s sales teams needed an efficient, intuitive mobile solution to track their pipeline sales to third-party partners - major resellers (Target, BestBuy), mom-and-pop shops throughout Asia and Europe, B2B partners (British Airways), and the Education sector (universities, schools).

My Role

As the new UX Design Lead, I took this project over from engineer who had created wireframes based on guidelines defined by the product owner. The wireframes did not address several business needs, and were confusing and complex. I collaborated closely with the functional lead, engineers and stakeholders to rework the entire set of wireframes, create additional user flows, and apply a visual design that turned very complex data sets into an intuitive, frictionless, and highly efficient mobile tool for Apple’s sales teams to track and close orders.
